Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 29 September 2026 · Syslice Technologies Private Limited
Dhaka Ka Bas, Nawalgarh, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan 333305, India
Short, specific and enforced. WhatsApp is not email: every business on the platform shares the consequences of the worst behaviour on it, so a policy nobody acts on is a cost paid by the customers who follow it.
The rule everything else follows from
Message people who asked to hear from you, about the thing they asked about. Opt-in must be freely given, informed, and recorded. A phone number obtained from a purchased list, scraped from a website, or collected for one purpose and used for another is not consent.
You must
- Keep proof of opt-in for every person you message, and be able to produce it.
- Honour opt-out immediately and permanently until the person opts in again. Colloquent enforces this on every sending path; do not attempt to work around it.
- Identify yourself clearly. The business sending the message must be the business the recipient consented to hear from.
- Follow WhatsApp’s Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy, and the law where your recipients live — including India’s DPDP Act, and the GDPR where it applies.
- Use message templates for their approved purpose and category. Sending a marketing message under a utility template is a policy breach and a billing misstatement at once.
You must not
- Send to purchased, rented, scraped or inherited lists.
- Send unsolicited marketing of any kind.
- Impersonate another business, brand or person, or send on behalf of someone else’s brand without authorisation.
- Send anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors.
- Send phishing, malware, or links whose destination is disguised.
- Use Colloquent for the sale of goods or services WhatsApp prohibits — among them drugs and drug paraphernalia, weapons and ammunition, live animals, human body parts, and medical products where prohibited. The Commerce Policy is the authority.
- Operate on behalf of a sanctioned party, or in a jurisdiction we are prohibited from serving.
- Attempt to bypass the platform’s rate limits, quality controls, or our consent enforcement.
- Resell access to your Colloquent account, or use one account to send for unrelated businesses, without a written agreement with us.
How this is enforced
We monitor quality signals Meta reports — block rates, quality ratings, template rejections and pauses — and the complaints we receive directly. We may:
- ask you to explain, and require evidence of opt-in;
- throttle or suspend sending on an account immediately, without prior notice, where the risk to the platform is ongoing;
- terminate the account for a serious or repeated breach;
- report to Meta or to law enforcement where we are required to.
Suspension for a breach of this policy is the one action we take before notice rather than after it. The harm is not confined to your account: a business messaging people who never opted in degrades the standing of every number on the platform, including our other customers’.
Reporting abuse
If you received a message through Colloquent that you did not consent to, tell us: [email protected]. Include the sender’s number and, if you can, a screenshot. We investigate every report.
To stop messages immediately, reply STOP on WhatsApp — it is honoured
at once and does not require us to act. To have your data removed, see
Data deletion.
